Sexual maturation accompanies puberty. For a girl, her breasts begin to develop, and later on, she undergoes a menstrual period. For a boy, his private organs become larger. Together with these changes, the hormonal urges are considerably uncontrollable, and having sex is a plausible outlet for this.

Teenage Pregnancy

This may lead to early, unwanted parenthood or unplanned parenthood. Although premarital sex is highly discouraged by general religion, the rate of such cases continues to rise. In this context, education on safe sex, or sexual health in general, is recommended to teenagers. It is better to be aware of the distressing sexually transmitted diseases and safe contraceptions to prevent unplanned pregnancy. However, the best prevention from STIs and unwanted parenthood is to completely abstain from sexual intercourse.
